NRL is the top-tier rugby league competition in Australia and New Zealand. The 2022 season will feature sixteen teams battling it out over 25 rounds to be crowned the premiership champion. For the first time since the Gold Coast Titans were introduced in 2007, the NRL confirmed that the Dolphins will enter the league, expanding the competition to 17 teams for the 2023 season.
